The process to get a new connection of FESCO electricity is simple and hassle free. You Can apply for a new connection using couple of methods as under,
Online Application
Through online application process, you can apply for new electricity connection using ENC (Electricity New Connection system which is completely free and easy to use.
Detailed process is listed with pictures for your better understanding. While applying for a new connection installation follow the exact steps. Prior to filling out the application form, it is important to possess certain mandatory documents.
All documents mention above should be available in hard and softcopy in JPG and PDF formats.
Once you all these documents ready you can start to proceed the online application process form by following the steps mentioned as under:
Step 1: Open your browser and visit ENC portal by clicking the button below
Step 2: Click on ”Apply” button on left side of portal.
Step 3: After selecting the “Apply” button, you will be directed to a page containing a form that requires you to provide your neighbor’s consumer reference number. Once you input this number, the system will automatically retrieve the pertinent details, such as your neighbor’s name and address, the name of the distribution company, as well as the corresponding sub-division name and code.
Step 4: At this stage, you will be asked to select the appropriate load category based on your consumption and load requirements. The selection you make will depend on the type of connection you need. For instance, if you require a domestic connection, your load requirement is unlikely to exceed 5KW. In such a case, you can choose the first option, which allows for a load of up to 15KW.
Step 5: Once you have provided the necessary primary data, you will be presented with various connection type options, from which you will need to select the one that applies to your situation. For instance, if you require a connection for residential purposes, you should select the “Domestic” connection type. Alternatively, if you need a connection for a tube well, you can select the corresponding connection type.
Step 6: After selecting the appropriate connection type, scroll down the form to input your personal details.
Step 7: In this step, you will be asked to provide details about the appliances that you plan to use in your home. You can select the type of appliance from the available menu options. For example, if you have one refrigerator, you can choose “Refrigerator” from the menu. Then, enter the quantity of refrigerators you plan to use as “1” and provide the wattage information from the data sheet of the fridge. Repeat this process for all other appliances that you plan to use.
Step 8: Once you have provided all the mandatory details, you will be prompted to attach the necessary documents mentioned earlier. To do this, click on the “Browse” button and select the scanned copies of the required documents one by one. Ensure that you upload each document in the designated field before proceeding to the next one. Once you have attached all the necessary documents, review the form to ensure that all the information provided is correct before submitting it.
After agreeing terms and conditions and solving the mentioned captcha, click on ”Submit“‘ button and your application for new connection will be submitted.
Offline Application
To apply for a new connection in FESCO, you need to follow the following steps:
- Visit the nearest FESCO Customer Service Center to obtain the application form for a new connection. You can also download the application form from the fescoebill.pk website below.
- Fill out the application form with accurate and complete information. You will need to provide your name, address, contact information, type of connection (residential, commercial, or industrial), load requirement, and any other relevant details.
- Attach the required documents with the application form, including a copy of your National Identity Card (NIC), a recent electricity bill, and proof of ownership or tenancy of the property where the connection is required.
- Submit the completed application form and supporting documents to the FESCO Customer Service Center or upload them online through the FESCO website.
- After applying, FESCO will conduct a feasibility study to determine the availability of a connection in your area and the required load capacity.
- Once the feasibility study is complete, FESCO will provide you with an estimate of the connection cost, which includes a connection fee, security deposit, and any other applicable charges.
- Pay the connection fee and security deposit to FESCO as per the payment instructions provided.
- After payment, FESCO will provide you with a new connection within the specified timeframe.
